Digital Transformation Initiatives: Battery Service No. 1 Priority for AAA Federation
Batteries were top-of-mind at the conference, with many speakers discussing the value of the Battery Service Program. Keynote speaker Andrew Busch, Economic Futurist and former Chief Market Intelligence Officer for the US government, shared results from the AAA Automotive Strategic Focus Poll, which showed that the Federation’s number one priority for digital transformation initiatives is developing data analytics to predict service needs and optimize battery sales. In addition, there was discussion focused on improving battery service with technology for translating the plate number to a VIN. Furthermore, one presenter closed his session, saying, “Sell more batteries!”
Club Assist Battery Program Suppliers Unite
Club Assist was honored to be joined for the first time ever by representatives from all three of our AAA-approved battery manufacturers: East Penn Manufacturing, Clarios, and Sebang Global Battery. Also in attendance was DHC Specialty Corporation, manufacturer of the MBC-1000 tester.
Pivotal to the Battery Service Program, Club Assist’s trusted suppliers provided a unique opportunity for AAA/CAA Club attendees to connect, engage, and ask questions about battery manufacturing trends, testing, and strategic plans for the EV evolution of the automotive industry.

Welcome Reception
As the premier level sponsor, Club Assist proudly presented the Welcome Reception. Our battery tester partner, DHC, contributed to the sponsorship as well. It was a high-energy evening where ideas flowed as freely as the conversations. “We didn’t just invest in sponsorship; Club Assist invested in a future where possibilities can become real outcomes,” said Meredith Fordham Hughes, Club Assist Executive Director of Product Development and Marketing, “Our goal at the conference was to lay the foundation for success in every handshake and shared moment.” Surrounded by the best in AAA Automotive minds, and the Federation’s battery manufacturers, Club Assist embraced the opportunity to connect and engage with attendees.
