Equipped with additional sensors that allow the unit to check for excessive resistance in the cables, the improved tester module quickly determines if the cables need replacement. The tester can also perform over-the-air firmware updates versus replacing the tester when updates are required. In addition, the MBC-1000SD is compatible with the current Android and Apple applications and does not require app updates.
The new cable design features a robust, single four-prong connection with added strain relief at the connections for improved durability. This single connection point ensures users replace both leads simultaneously for increased accuracy during testing.
The MBC-1000SD tester is equipped with the latest Bluetooth module, enabling over-the-air firmware update capabilities for future enhancements and battery technologies (e.g., lithium-ion).
New replacement and warranty orders of MBC-1000 non-SDs will be replaced with the MBC-1000SD. The price will remain the same for both the new MBC-1000SD and SD lead sets. Club Assist will continue to stock MBC-1000 non-SD lead sets to ensure service needs are met.

The MBC-1000SD requires the latest version of the Club Assist MBC-1000 application that can be found on the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. The latest version of the app is compatible with the MBC-1000 non-SD.
