EZTow Assist’s Light Service + Towing Vehicle Wows at American Towman Expo

EZTow Assist creates buzz at 2021 American Towman Exposition in Baltimore. Motoring clubs and Emergency Roadside Service (ERS) providers from across the United States packed the Baltimore Convention Center for the 2021 American Towman Exposition earlier this month. More than 15,000 attendees perused exhibits for towing, transport, recovery, and roadside service.

EZTow Assist, a subsidiary of Club Assist, was onsite showcasing the versatile EZLift light-duty truck that performs roadside service and towing while neatly stowing up to 25 batteries, along with essential roadside tools and equipment.

Game-Changing Rapid Deployment Trailer

Built on a Ford Ranger XL chassis, EZLift impressed attendees with its Rapid Deployment Trailer (RDT).  Capable of towing cars and small to mid-size SUVs up to 30 miles, the RDT, which folds completely into the vehicle’s cargo bay, fully deploys in two minutes. If the customer’s vehicle cannot be fixed onsite, the RDT is ready to transport most vehicles within ten minutes of arriving on scene.

“If a battery truck is sent out and a Member ends up needing a tow, it may take an hour or longer, depending on how busy we are, to get a tow truck to them. With the RDT, there’s no waiting around for the Member – we can just take care of them right then and there.”

Eliminate Duplicate Callouts

Research shows that a high number of ERS calls result in two service calls. Duplicate callouts are typically a result of dispatchers sending the wrong vehicle for the job (e.g., tow truck dispatched for a dead battery; light service truck sent to a vehicle needing a tow).

EZTow Assist offers a fleet of revolutionary ERS vehicles that provide a turnkey solution to reduce roadside events to one comprehensive callout:

EZLift Ford Ranger XL

EZForce Ford Cargo Van

EZPower Heavy-Duty Ford F-250

Multipurpose Utility Body

Attendees also showed particular interest in the multi-purpose utility body that comes standard with EZLift and EZPower. The copolymer body can carry up to 40 batteries (depending on vehicle model), an air compressor, light-service tools, a roadside jump pack, and a mobile EV charger. Lightweight, secure, and rustproof, the copolymer utility body offers a cost-effective alternative to a traditional fiberglass topper, outlasting and outperforming its fiberglass equivalent in the harshest environments.
