COMPACT, LIGHTWEIGHT, FAST, DECISIVE, AND ACCURATE
The collaborative partnership between Club Assist and AAA/CAA Clubs resulted in new development advancements of the MBC-1000 interface. Using Club feedback, Club Assist incorporated numerous enhancements to the MBC-1000 Tester app to elevate the user experience. These upgrades equip Battery Service Technicians with information to clearly communicate with the Member about the cause of the battery failure.
IMPROVED ROADSIDE PERFORMANCE
Upgraded Features Elevate Technician and Member Experience
Club Assist strives to provide our AAA/CAA Club partners with testers and battery service solutions which aid Battery Service Technician performance and help facilitate a positive Member experience. In response to Club requests, Club Assist improved the MBC-1000’s VIN capture capability. The app can now use vehicle information gathered during a battery service call to improve testing and reporting through:
- Integrated Call Information
- Open Circuit Voltage Display
- Barcode Scanning and Test Memory
- Battery UPC Scanning
Integrated Call Information
CORRELATED TESTER AND CALL DATA
Based on field feedback, we have integrated call information into our battery tester application. Tester data and call data from the field will now correlate, to reduce the number of unmatched calls, giving Clubs and Providers increased visibility into performance at the roadside.
If you would like to explore Call ID integration functionality, make a request to your Club Assist representative. Once enabled, the call information will be pulled into the MBC-1000 app using an API integration set up by your Club's IT group. ENHANCED TECHNICIAN/MEMBER COMMUNICATION
Open Circuit Voltage Display
The “Start Test” page of the MBC-1000 app will now display Open Circuit Voltage (OCV). This enhanced feature prompts the Battery Service Technician to ask the Member why the battery may have discharged.
NEW VIN CAPTURE CAPABILITIES
Barcode Scanning and Test Memory
By integrating the MBC-1000 tester with the Club Assist fitment database, Club Assist can decode the VIN with Year-Make-Model-Engine-Fuel Type. The information captured in the raw data is stored in the cloud. If the VIN is scanned a second time, a popup alerts the Battery Service Technician of a previous test. The Technician will then be prepared with talking points to discuss the previous test with the Member.
ACCURATE CCA RATING DISPLAY
Battery UPC Scanning
When completing a test on a AAA/CAA battery, the Battery Service Technician can scan the battery's UPC code to populate the correct CCA rating.
